R.I.P. BMW 2002, 1971 – 2010

First off, everyone’s okay – but the BMW is totaled. Fie on that 19-year-old in the yellow Aveo! (“Can we just exchange information? This is my sister’s car and she’s gonna kill me!”) The 2002 had a starring role in Wheels, a two-page comic I did for the Seattle P.I. (R.I.P. also!) in August, 2007.

May, 2007: Off to the DMV. Excited!

Goodbye, sweet 2002.

So, what’s next? I vote for a Honda Fit, although they’re sure not your style…

Oh man! A yellow Aveo? What a way to go.

Goodbye 2002. It was unfair and heart breaking. We will miss you.

So I had to google Aveo to find out what a little piece of x#&* it is. DAMN!! Why couldn’t it have been a Ferrari or at least a Mercedes? It’s like RUINING a great DEATH SCENE by setting it to something by SHERYL CROW. Oh how Undeserved, Unmerited, Uncalled for, Unreasonable, and Unjust!

Aw, man! That was a beautiful car. I mean, I loved your Cougar, but I love BMWs down to my core, and there’s always been something about the 2002 that really gets me.

Glad to hear you’re OK.
