Lustlab Ad of the Week: 3/27

Think of it: he’s hogtied in the trunk, with all those mall shoppers chatting and walking by in the parking lot. (”Mindi, I can’t believe these scented candles were 20% off!”) That’s pervy!!

I’ve just started a new cartoon series for Choose Your Way Bellevue. It’s part of Bellevue’s Transportation Department, but it’s their Demand Management Program, so it’s all about alternatives to driving your car. Readers write in with their crazy!whimsical! ways to get around, and I make a cartoon out of one of them.

You want me to draw your idea? Write in!

Sound Transit ‘N’ Me
Posted in News March 23rd, 2008 by Ellen

I’ll be doing the public art for the Sound Transit tunnel from the west entrance by SCCC under Broadway, to the station. Yay! I’m not sure what art I’m going to do yet but I’ll come up with something with my signature feel-good flair. “Keep it edgy!” my friends remind me. But will Big Fuckin’ Hands or naked ladies pass through the committee processes??

(Here is a “sample of my public work” for my Sound Transit interview, courtesy of Photoshop.)

The idea here is that the basement door is cracked open, and a dark shadow spills out. (Ooh, creepy.) I don’t think I did justice to this guy’s fierce, raucous prison fantasy - this looks kind of sad and lonely. But still: creepy! And I bet this guy would agree that sometimes, “creepy” will do.

I originally intended to do furvert art like on this site, but I opted for cuteness. I’ll do something more graphic for my next furry ad. Maybe.

The show at Bailey Coy Books on Thursday went GREAT!! Many thanks to Michael Wells, Fuschia Foxx, Holly Chernobyl, Benni Hana, my hunky assistant (Joe, that’s you), and the lively SRO crowd.

Re: this week’s Lustlab AOTW poetry request: Do you think it would be possible to write a sexy limerick? Not just “there was a young man from Nantucket,” but I mean, something that’s actually hot. My thought is: no.
